Thanks Iain. There were some very nice fish to the net. I would highly recommend a trip. It’s well worth it.

Great posts and beautiful fish–I particularly like the one male cutt with brilliant red gill plates and sides. It looks like you guys had a heck of a trip, I look forward to your third post!

Hmm, I might need to think about making a trip to Pyramid myself one of these springs…

Thanks, Iain

Thanks Howard. I don’t know how much of a secret Pyramid is based on the number of ladders set up on the beach. It is a heck of a long way from Phoenix though.

Agreed. But I can think of other things worse than being a troutbum on Pyramid.

Thanks Mel for the kind words. I still have day 3 to post and we caught some nice fish on that last day. It’s been fun to look back and write about the trip but it’s been tough too because I just want to leave work and drive back up there. Next year for sure.

Kyle, I agree. I think half the reason our trip was a success was because of the guys that we had there. Definitely my biggest trout too. Here’s to landing a ten pounder next time.

It’s definitely worth it. I’m planning on heading up again next year. I think it will become an annual pilgrimage.
