Yep I understand those “nature walks” I do the same with the Blue Grouse except I’m scouting elk, turkey and picking wild mushrooms, although the grouse hunting has picked up the last couple years.

FYI could be some good fishing in the high country lakes ice is off Sunrise any way should be some good hold over trout doubt there was much if any winter kill.

Great area – sorry for the lack of quail, but the sunrise and time outside makes up for it.
