Thanks for the comment. You are correct. I normally fish an 8 weight and there are some windy days on Pyramid where it’s so tough to cast, I wish I had a heavier rod. I’ve fished with a couple of guys who carry heavier rods just for that situation. So I bumped up to the 9 weight just to see what it was like and honestly really liked it. The rod throws line effortlessly and I really didn’t feel like I was casting anything different than an 8 weight.
