Anyone ask them what their guaranty was if you were bitten through the product?
I promise they are not Snake Bite Proof. They may have found some snake at a herpetology center to give a half hearted strike, but no flexible material has been shown to be snake bite proof.
Crackshot makes the only guaranteed snake bite proof gaiter on the market to my knowledge. They back them up with a One Million Dollar Guaranty.

A great product. I wear mine here in South Africa where we get deadly puffadders that don’t move until you have stood on them, and while encounters are infrequent, I am scared enough to wear my turtleskins whenever I fish a stream. Not too hot, and surprisingly light.

Great to hear from you Kevin and nice to hear that the Mearns are doing well. I couldn’t agree more with you on the Turtleskin gaiters. They are fantastic.

I own and wear turtle skin leggings – a must in the southwest. Good piece of equipment and fits on outside of my pack when not in use.
