Thanks for your input Tony. This WingWorks vest is my particular favorite, but to each their own. Take care.

Its not bad, but I found the frontload Tenzing and Orvis Pro rearload to be better suited for me.

It’s a rock solid vest Casey. Can’t go wrong with a Wingworks.

Several things jumped out at me: Water bottle pockets, hydration sleeve, First Aide Kit pockets. I have to be careful when I take my dog to the desert. Looks like a great vest.

Joe, I hear you. I think the big velcro flaps are good and with the pockets so deep, not much can escape, but I see what you mean. I’ve seen on some other vests, like the Q5 where the front pocket has both zippers and velcro flaps so you can choose which way you want to secure it. Still, overall I think the WW is pretty sweet.

I have one problem with it is that I wish there was a way to secure the shell pockets when not in use so that shells and what ever else you store won’t fall out if it gets not over.

Brent, I waited a long time to get this vest and wish I had got it sooner. It’s an awesome vest and sounds like it would be perfect for Idaho. Anytime you’re down this way, give me a shout and we’ll go after some Gambel’s.

I’m just waiting for the color schemes I like to come back on the cordura one and I’ll pull the trigger without hesitation. Two more days till grouse season here in Idaho…can’t wait. Would love trying to chase those Gambel’s some day.

No the 870 is still in the rotation, but I did do a bit of upgrading in the shotgun department. I picked up one of the new Winchester 101s and was out shooting some clays when I took these pictures. I’d love to get out some weekend. Keep me posted and we’ll do it.
