My step-dad’s family still have a “camp” in the Adirondacks. It is on the Schroon River a few miles below the lake, near Chestertown.

I have only been there in the cold season but one of these days, I’ll get back there in a season I can fish.

Thank you for your kind words. The Adirondacks are pretty amazing. I wish I had appreciated them more while growing up. Being in the desert now makes me realize what I had. I enjoyed reading through your site.
