    That is a great looking stone Ben!! I always wondered what I could do with my quail feathers, I guess I now have one pattern I can tie. I would think you could do a soft hackle of some kind. Great looking bug.

      Thanks Paul. I’ve also started tying some of my pheasant tails with the smaller Gambel’s feathers tied in as soft hackles. It looks pretty sweet.

    I just tied up a trial run of 6 in size 6.
    Look great in the light.

    Do you ever tie them in smaller sizes like 10s?
